Samphire (Juniper) molasses

Samphire molasses produced from Juniper fruits collected from Mersin Bozyazı, Antalya Gazipaşa, Maraş Andırın and Malatya Pütürge regions (Turkey).

The location of the fruit trees, temperature difference and precipitation can influence the bitterness or sweetness of Samphire molasses.
It can be sweet during the dry season and bitter during the rainy season. Samphire fruits obtained from Bozyazı and Maraş Andırın regions show seasonal changes.

pH level: 5.3 (the range determined by the Ministry is the range of 5.0 – 6.0. Samphire molasses complies with the molasses communiqué.)
HMF Value: 2 - 35 (the maximum value determined by the Ministry is 75. Samphire molasses complies with the molasses communiqué.)

It is known that Samphire molasses helps during allergies and cough complaints. Furthermore, helps against hairloss and is known by its support as antibacterial.

Consume 1 tablespoon of Samphire (juniper) molasses (full) before breakfast, lunch or dinner once a day.
Children under 12 years old should consume 1 teaspoon on an empty stomach once a day.

Store in a cool and dry place. Do not expose to direct sunlight.

After opening the bottle of Prof Saracoglu Samphire (juniper) molasses, condensation may occur due to loss of moisture and crystallization may occur depending on the sugar of the fruit.
