The aronia berries contain between 0.6 - 2 % anthocyanins, which belongs to the second largest phenolic compound conentration range group (Kokotkiewicz et al., 2010).

The presence of anthocyanins increases the antioxidant capacity of the herbs/berries, which is one of the most important determining factors.
Aronia is superior compared to many plants in terms thanks to its content of high anthocyanin.


It is known that Pro pastil aronia helps strengthen immune system, type 1 and type 2 diabetic. Due to its high antioxidant content it supports increasing body resistance.
